The 8th grade students put on an amazing performance last night! The recitation of prose and verse of Shakespeare was stellar. Many thanks to our play director, Mrs. Molly Druffner and communications teacher, Mrs. Deb Frericks for their dedication to these fine students.

Valley Outreach Snack Packs

St. Croix Catholic School and Valley Outreach are offering Snack Pack: a free, supplemental weekend food support program for students in need. Through Snack Pack, participating students will be provided with snacks and pre-packaged meals to be consumed on the weekends. Each Snack Pack will contain four meal items, a selection of snacks, beverages, and other items as available. Should you choose to enroll in the program, a Snack Pack will be discreetly placed into your student’s backpack every Friday afternoon or the last day before an extended weekend.

Snack Pack is available to any family in need. There are no financial requirements. If your household could benefit from Snack Pack, complete the registration form below and return to the main office at SCCS or to Valley Outreach as soon as possible.

Nov. 15 Evening for the Arts - final call!

Tickets for Evening for the Arts must be purchased by Friday, November 6. Don't miss this amazing new event; proceeds support the performing and fine arts programs offered through St. Croix Catholic School.

Little Flowers Girls' Club meets once a month after school.

Registration is open for any girls in grades K - 5 who would like to join Little Flowers. The group learns about the Catholic faith and develops virtues by learning about the lives of the Saints.

They will meet once a month on Thursdays after school. See the calendar below for exact dates.

The cost is $35 and scholarships are available by contacting Maggie Justen.

New Office for the Mission of Catholic Education

An exciting transition is taking place in the Archdiocesean Office of Catholic Schools. A letter from Bishop Andrew Cozzens regarding the transition of the Office of Catholic Schools to the new Office for the Mission of Catholic Education was sent to school and parish administration last week. This letter talks about the reasons behind establishing the new office, as well as an update on the transition process and a brief introduction to the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence (CSCOE).
