Servant Leaders

Thank you to the many middle school students who share their time and talents in our parish and larger communities. On a regular basis, these young servant leaders serve at funeral masses and help clean up after funeral luncheons. They serve as sacristans, musicians, and mass buddies and reading buddies to younger students. They teach religion topics to younger students and lead the annual All-School Faith Rally.

Our middle school leaders befriend the elderly at Linden Nursing Home, organize food shelf drives, serve as crossing guards, and adopt families at Christmas time. They assist in tidying up preschool and elementary classrooms and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atriums.

They are often seen volunteering at school and parish events, such as: St. Mary's Wild Rice Festival, St. Michael's Fun Fest, SCCS and Ark of Angel open houses, St. Nicholas event, Afternoon for the Arts, and Light Their Way gala.

Service becomes a way of life for our young servant leaders.
