My name is Sonia Eberspacher and I am thrilled to be teaching third grade at St. Croix Catholic School! It was in these very classrooms as a child where I first heard the call to be a teacher, and it still amazes me that I am back here, able to do what I love. Intermediate students are my favorite to work with. Students show such independence, curiosity, and enthusiasm at this age. They want to solve problems, big and small, and use their talents and energy to serve others. They also love to play and laugh, and explore their relationship with our truly awesome God.
A long time ago I graduated from the University of Iowa. After working in the business world I returned to school to fulfill my true calling. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a Master’s in Education, I held various long-term substitute teaching positions and had three children. This is my sixth year at SCCS. When I’m not teaching, I am usually on the baseball sidelines cheering on my boys with my husband.
