Mrs. Koenning's Fifth Grade Literature students created fold-out diaromas as a culminating project for the class's unit on the novel Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, by Mildred Taylor. Students chose a scene they liked that represented a significant event in the novel. They hand-folded the diorama's background into an accordion booklet, and the bulk of their scenes were created by cutting paper. Several are on display in the lower level hallway. Great work, students!
