The Feast Day of the Holy Cross is the Feast Day of St. Croix (Holy Cross) Catholic School. This day commemorates the finding of the wood of the true cross by St. Helen in the fourth century. It has become for Christians a reminder of the Resurrection; that pain and suffering are not the end and do not have the final answer over our happiness. We will experience pain and suffering in this life, but we can choose to allow our pain and suffering to draw us closer to Christ and allow Him to have the victory of the salvation of our soul in the process.
