Junior Chess & Game Club

What is Junior Chess & Game Club?

Jr. Chess & Game Club is for boys and girls who want an introduction to chess and other classic and modern games. Many different table, card, strategy, and fun games will be explored like Mouse Trap, Clue, UNO, and Star Wars Battle of the Galaxy. Games of all types especially for younger students or those with slightly shorter attention spans will be played. Younger students wanting to learn and play chess and advance to Chess Club will be given the opportunity. Students may toggle back and forth from chess to other games. Students will get an opportunity to design & invent their own game. Overall goal will be exposure to new games, developing game skills including critical thinking, being a good sport, and having fun.
