Both the Concert Band and the Orchestra program are open to new students at any time of the year.
Concert Band instruction is provided by the Hill-Murray Parish School Band Program and is offered to students in grades 4 - 8. A Hill Murray instructor comes to SCCS one day a week to instruct the students. Band students perform two concerts a year at St. Croix Catholic (Advent and Spring), and are also invited to participate in a combined schools concert, the Almost Spring Concert at Hill-Murray. Orchestra instruction is provided by Jim Woodhouse and is offered to students in grades 3-8. Mr. Woodhouse comes to SCCS three mornings a week to instruct the students.
