Proceeds are used to help build the Endowment Fund. Prior to this event, our fund balance was $1.1 million and in recent years, a total of $200,000 in distributions has been directed back to the school to support our annual operating budgets. It is truly becoming an important fourth pillar of support for the school.
While we are still crunching numbers as of the printing of this FYI, we are estimating net proceeds to total $24,700. A special appeal to make an extra gift to the Endowment Fund in honor of Bishop John LeVoir has generated an additional $35,000 at time of printing.
