Over the years, SCCS students in Kindergarten through 5th grade have really enjoyed after school chess lessons in January through March.
When we return from our Christmas break, students will be treated to a Chess demonstration on Tuesday afternoon, January 6. The students will all be invited to sign up for after school Chess lessons. Registration forms will be distributed after the demonstrations and should be turned in by January 13. (You may also print a form below.)
The lessons, led by Schoolhouse Chess, will run for 6 Tuesdays beginning January 27th. These after school lessons are from 3:40 until 4:40 pm. The cost is $65.00 per students. Partial scholarships may be available to help with the cost if needed. Contact Diane Polley with questions about scholarship help.
