Athletics Overview
Mr. Tom Rooker serves as St. Croix Catholic School's Athletic Director. Mr. Rooker can be reached at [email protected] or 651-439-5581. St. Croix Catholic School offers student athletes a wide variety of team and individual sports opportunities.
2025-2026 Basketball Registration is now open! SCCS will form basketball teams for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade students if there is enough interest from students and volunteer parent coaches. These teams will participate in the sport through the Catholic Athletic Association (CAA). The cost for basketball is $100. Payment will be collected at the time of registration. If you're unable to make payment at this time or are in need of financial assistance, please contact Mrs. deLeon, [email protected] before registering.
REGISTRATION IS DUE by Monday, October 27th at 11:00PM. Registrations must be received by this date so teams can be formed.
Any registrations received after this date may not be eligible for a team.
Through the Catholic Athletic Association (CAA), students in grades 5-8 may participate in:

Our Knights teams compete with other Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Many of our graduates fondly recall their first memories of playing on school sports teams.
Families are informed of CAA sports opportunities through the school's weekly newsletter, the FYI, and are posted on this site.
The St.Croix Valley Athletic Association (SCVAA) offers opportunities in a variety of sports for students in grades K-8. Additionally, student athletes in grades 6-8 may participate in sports offered by District #834 if the sport is not available through our CAA league.
