Lunch Program

St. Croix Catholic School provides healthy meals each day.

Children attending St. Croix Catholic School may qualify for educational benefits (such as federal funding for free or reduced-price meals or discounts at certain museums, camps, etc.), based on household income. To apply, complete the Application for Educational Benefits, which can be found at the link below. A new application must be completed and submitted each year.

  • If you wish to complete the application online, please go to this link and click "Educational Benefits Application." You will need to create one account per family and you can add all your children to the family account.
  • If you already completed the paper copy and submitted it to Mr. Trygstad, he has forwarded those to Stillwater. You do not have to also complete the online form.

If you have any specific questions regarding your application, setting up your family account, or the process, please contact Jamie Steffen ([email protected]).

Who can get free school meals?

Children in households participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), and foster, homeless, migrant and runaway children can get free school meals without reporting household income. Alternatively, children can get free school meals if their household income is within the maximum income shown for their household size on the instructions.
